Due to a huge catalogue of unforeseen events, your Pokesdown Trumpet has not been forthcoming. Hopefully, when things have finally sorted themselves the Trumpet will arrive on your computers once again.
Judging by the interest shown on our Facebook page, there will be standing room only for our next residents meeting tomorrow 25th February 2016 at the ‘Kitchen’ Formerly ‘The Well’ 821 Christchurch Road, opposite Rosebery Baptist Church.
For your delight and delectation if you arrive at 7.00 p.m you will be able to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious slice of home made Victoria Sponge, with real cream, for only one pound, P.C. Forum will make up the difference. The meeting must start prompt at 7.30.
Michael Stead will be giving one of his popular talks on the history of Pokesdown, including slides and more photographs. Even more pictures can be seen in large A1 frames and a 1870s map of Pokesdown can be bought for just 50p. See Facebook for more details.
